Our story
Lakeside Longshore Construction & Design (LLCD) is a local, owner-operated marine construction company serving waterfront property owners across Eastern North Carolina. We specialize in heavy-duty seawalls, custom docks, boathouses, spillway decks, and shoreline stabilization built to withstand the demands of our region's freshwater rivers, creeks, and lakes.
Owner Lonnie Dean has personally built in challenging freshwater environments for over a decade — hands-on experience he now brings to LLCD as his full-time, dedicated business. We use marine-grade materials, professional engineering practices, and proven installation techniques. We evaluate hydrostatic pressure, soil composition, water depth, and seasonal fluctuations to recommend the right solution for your site and budget.
